July 24, 2010 - Body Tuning and Chant, The Sound Within To The Sound Without. The Science and Practice of Sound and Chant with Eileen McKusick and Suzanne Tremblay. 294 North Winooski Ave., Burlington VT. 7PM. $7.00 donation suggested.

You are invited to an evening of exploration in the world of sound and music with Eileen McKusick who will present the art and science of sound healing. Then Suzanne 'Ambika' Tremblay will introduce chant to the audience and will lead a mini concert inviting the audience to participate in the power of chant. Sound has the potential to soothe the nervous system, quiet and focus the mind, settle emotions and more. The body and spirit respond to sound. Find out how it will affect you at this evening's event that promises to be entertaining, thoughtful, thought provoking and fun.

Eileen McKusick is a sound researcher and practitioner who has been studying the effects of audible sound frequencies on the body since 1996. She is the origniator of Sound Therapy Body Tuning, a unique method of restoring health and balance through the acoustic waves produced by tuning forks.
